Undertale Shipping Chart Update.

I know I did this about a year ago. But since my opinion on some of these ships have changed, I figured I'd go ahead and update it. Sadly, I can't seem to find the original. Of course, be warned as there are opinions down below. But anyway...

OTP

Sans...just Sans all by himself

While I DO  like to think he's dated someone before, I can't imagine him being in a serious relationship. So yeah, he's forever single!

Undyne x Alphys

I admitted that this one caught me off guard while playing it, but of course this one's still my OTP. I can imagine Undyne doing her best to motivate Alphys, especially at her worst moments. Plus, those phone calls where Undyne mentions Alphys is adorable.

Toriel x Sans

I had trouble thinking about this one. I will admit, I've seen some cute fanart between these two. Plus, I can see why folks would ship this (since Sans mentions how he's talking to the "old lady" behind the door). But despite this, I can only really see them as friends. 

Sans x Alphys

I'll admit, I like to joke that Alphys has a crush on everyone, but I just can't see her and Sans as a actual couple under any circumstance. This one doesn't bother me enough to hate it, but I just can't see this happening. I actually like to think that Sans and Alphys have a big sister/little brother relationship similar to Papyrus and Undyne...but with less explosions and more nerdy arguments about science fiction anime.

Sans x Muffet

The one thing about this is that these two have the best pairing name out of all the other pairing name (Dunkin' Donuts). And like Soriel, I have seen some cute fanart lying around here and there. But I've also came across some stuff that makes me uncomfortable. I can handle some kinks to a certain degree...but if it gets to the point where someone is tied up and being force-fed, then I'd rather not see it.

Frisk x Monster Kid

Again, another pairing I can find cute at times.

Toriel x Asgore

After a bit of thought, I have my doubts that these two would romantically get back together. I think Asgoriel can be sweet at times, and I can even say that they look adorable. But at the most, I think these two would just stay as friends (slightly awkward friends, but friendly enough to be Frisk's parents on the surface). And hey, If Toriel ever decided that she wanted to date someone else, I'd think that Asgore would be happy for her.

Dislike

Frisk x Chara

Now, I love the narrator Chara theory, and I like to think that Chara might've been sarcastic little shit when they lived with their adoptive family. However, I just can't see this happening at all. Not to mention that the only time we get to see them is after we kill everybody. So yeah, I can't really see this one happening.

Sans x Undyne

Weird pairing, but OK...

Papyrus x Undyne

I'm sorry, but I can't see this working on any  romantic level. Sure, some folks may like it because they like the "friends to lovers" type of trope, but I just can't see this pairing happening. To me, they're a little more like siblings. In some instances,  Undyne liked to gross Papyrus out (by mentioning her "puzzle ideas" several times in Hotland). And let's not forget, Papyrus teases her plenty of times as well. In one phone call, he mentions how he thought Undyne asked Alphys about the weather just to talk to her (and she tells him to shut up). Another instance I can think of is when Papyrus says to talk to Alphys in a hot voice. After Undyne objects, Papyrus says HE'LL talk to Alphys in the hot voice (which Undyne says is worse).  It's not the WORST pairing, but I just don't like it.

Papyrus x Mettaton

I don't really see much appeal to this one. I mean yeah, Pap's a fanboy. And he does call call Mettaton "sexy" at some point, but that's about all there is to this pairing. Also, I hate how out of character these two are when I come across comics of them. With Mettaton, he's either taking advantage of Papyrus or Mettaton is always the "woman" in the relationship (for lack of better words). With Papyrus, he's either a literal child or a complete idiot. And let's not forget about Sans, who always feels the need to "protect" Papyrus from Mettaton. I mean sure, I can understand Sans doesn't want anybody taking advantage of Papyrus. But most of the time, Sans' motives come off as abusing on Papyrus' part. And in extreme cases, it even comes off as incestuous. But yeah, I wouldn't say that Papyton is the worst pairing. But after seeing so many OOC comics of these guys, I can't really like it,

Hate

Toriel x Asriel/Flowey

Oh boy, incest and pedophilia! But seriously, why do people feel the need to ship Toriel with her own son? Thankfully, it's harder to come across than a certain other incest pairing, but that doesn't change the fact that it's still gross! Not to mention that Toriel would never do any of THAT to a child.

Sans x Frisk/Chara

Sorry, I'm not a fan of this one. Leaving out the fact that it's pedophilia, it just feels wrong to pair these guys up...Especially when it takes place during the genocide route. I know I wouldn't want to date someone who murdered everyone they could get their hands on, and I certainly wouldn't want to date someone who would murder my siblings.

Monster Kid x Undyne

So um...I came across a pretty raunchy picture of these two on google. Please don't ship these two, it's gross!

Asgore x Asriel

I haven't come across with too much, but why do people do this? Just like what I said about Toriel, I'm pretty sure that Asgore would never do THAT to his own son.

Sans and Papyrus

Hoo boy...where to begin.

Out of all the pairings to become popular, why did THIS have to be the one? I swear, Sans and Papyrus could just be standing their and it would STILL be considered fontcest. This pairing had gotten so out of hand that I literally have to look at the tags on DA and Tumblr just to make sure that a picture wasn't fontcest. Just typing this pairing out fills me with rage! This pairing was also the reason why I hated Underfell, it's because it looked like one of those AUs dedicated to the stupid pairing (ironic how Underfell is now my favorite AU, but that's a different story). I've even seen folks say that they're not actually brothers, despite literally calling themselves that ALL THROUGHOUT SNOWDIN (Undyne even calls Sans "Papyrus' brother" in those phone calls). And it's not to say that you can't have adoption headcanons, but a majority of the time it just seems like an excuse to ship these two.

Look, Sans and papyrus love each other, but they would never EVER consider dating each other, nor would they want to "bone" each other! Long story short, they are brothers...End of story!

Other pairings I want to mention

Sans x Grillby

It's an OK pairing, and I've got nothing against it. And if it's one thing I can say, it's that Grillby's pretty...HOT!

Asgore x Gaster

Again, It's an OK pairing. (and I can admit, Kingdings is a pretty clever ship name)

Gaster x Torial

As a headcanon, I like to think that Gaster and Toriel were childhood friends. I also like to think that Gaster HAD a crush on Toriel at one point. But by the time he COULD confess to her, she was already engaged to Asgore. Gaster's crush subsided after that and he married a small skeleton lady.

...So yeah...I like this pairing a little more then Kingdings. But even then, It's more of a one-sided crush then an actual thing (Plus I like seeing them as close friends).

Gaster x Sans

I know that we know nothing about Gaster and Sans' canon relationship, but I'm way too into the Dadster headcanon that Sanster just seems creepy to me.
